My most favorite part would be when they did the cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirits" the whole hall went crazy anddddd they had a special guest on the guitar whose I'm pretty sure was Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT! I was like OMFGGGGGGWTF!@#$%^&BBQ. I was upset before since MGMT was playing at Terminal 5 at the same time and the other 2 shows by them at the end of this month are both sold out, but then he showed up at Of Montreal show. Absolutely phenomenal, darling.
The show ended with my favorite song "A Sentence of Sorts in Kongsvinger". It made me happy. I thought they weren't going to play it.
On a side note, when they say "What's up, New York?" or "Hello, New York" or whatever, it made me feel... funny inside. I'm used to "What's up, Bangkok?!" (and usually followed by some typical Thai greetings that the bands had them memorized.) Sometimes I just couldn't believe it that I'm here... in New York City.
